The CD4017 is a CMOS decade counter IC in a DIP-16 package, widely employed in electronic projects. Featuring 10 output pins (Q0 to Q9), it functions as a binary ripple counter. Clock input (Pin 14) triggers counting on the rising edge, while the Reset pin (Pin 15) resets the counter.
