You can attach this DC power jack to the end of some wires so you can connect it to a DC female barrel jack. It works with a female barrel jack that has a 3.5mm hole and a center pole with a diameter of 1.35mm. You can either solder the wires directly to the connector or use crimping to attach them to the terminals. To connect the wires, you just need to unscrew the outer layer to access the solder terminals.
